Job Overview
Monex International Markets is seeking a visionary Chief Product Officer to define, lead, and execute our global product strategy and value proposition. This is a strategic executive role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for building and evolving our product portfolio to maximize client value and company profitability across all markets and segments.
The CPO's core mission is threefold:
- Design and deliver the most appealing and profitable product suite for our clients and prospects, focusing on simplifying global payments and FX hedging
- Maximize EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) by creating new revenue streams, strengthening core revenue flows, and driving cost-efficient, scalable processes
- Ensure clear go-to-market strategies, robust business cases, and explicit accountability across functions and regions
The CPO will oversee the Global Project Management Office (PMO), driving investment prioritization, innovation, and resource allocation to deliver with speed, quality, and impact. Acting as the primary client for all technology development initiatives and business enablement functions (IT, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Operations), the CPO will orchestrate cross-functional execution to bring new products to market efficiently and effectively.
Simultaneously, the CPO serves as the key service provider to Front Office teams—Sales, Dealing, and Relationship Management—ensuring they have best-in-class products, tools, training, and messaging required to succeed in market.
A critical mandate will be to oversee and manage the convergence of Monex International's core platforms (FXO and FXDB) into a single, optimized global platform. This transformational program will leverage our existing technology stack to create a scalable, efficient, and market-ready solution that enables expansion into unserved market segments across multiple geographies.
Core CPO Accountability: Maximizing EBIT
The CPO will be held accountable for maximizing Monex International's EBIT through four strategic pillars:
- Innovative and New Revenue Streams
Identifying, building, and launching transformational products that create entirely new, profitable revenue flows, including embedded finance solutions, partnerships, value-added data services, and premium service tiers. - Strengthening Core Revenue Flows
Expanding and optimizing the current cross-border payments, FX hedging, and ancillary financial services portfolio for continued growth and client retention. - Cost-Effective Processes and Scaling
Ensuring all product development and service delivery processes are cost-effective to increase margins, economies of scale, and our ability to scale rapidly while remaining nimble and agile—the opposite of a traditional bank. - Value Proposition Leadership
Defining and owning Monex International's global product strategy and roadmap, ensuring consistency, scalability, and local customization across all regions while meeting the needs of all client segments.
